When Firestar first began reforming SkyClan, he worried that there were none among the new Clan who had the sensitivity to omens and skill with herbs needed to be be their medicine cat. A dream from StarClan sent him into twolegplace, where he met the kittypet Echo. Her delicate, dainty build hardly seemed suited for life in the wild, but when she spoke of her dreams with starry cats and showed the courage to leave her home to follow the path set out for her, Firestar knew he had found exactly the cat SkyClan needed. Echosong worked hard to become the healer her young Clan needed, and displays all of the confidence, dedication, and spiritual sensitivity any Clan could hope for in a medicine cat.
Purdy
This quirky old loner wouldn’t have been any cat’s first choice for a guide through the Twolegplace on the way to the sun-drown place. The path he led the questing warriors on through Twolegplace was long and rambling, and they might have gotten through quicker on their own. But no one could doubt this old cat’s heart, or his courage, and despite his questionable service as a guide, the Clan cats came to care deeply for him.
Needletail
Rebellious, defiant, and stubborn from the start, this young ShadowClan cat was never happy in a Clan that she felt didn’t truly care about her. Millie met Graystripe when he was living in Twolegplace after being captured by the work folk. It was her courage and unceasing determination that kept him going on the long and difficult journey. Eventually, the pair found the Clans at their new home around the lake, and Millie was accepted into ThunderClan as a full warrior.
