Fiery, outspoken, and stubborn, Sandstorm was no friend to Fireheart in his early days in the Clan. She joined Dustpaw and Longtail in mocking the tom for his kittypet heritage. But when Fireheart saved her from falling into the gorge during a battle, her perspective on the tom seemed to shift, and she grew to respect him. In time, this fiercely loyal she-cat earned a place in Firestar’s heart like no other, and the place he earned at her side meant more to him than any of the power he held as Clan leader or as StarClan’s chosen hero.
