Who are the cats on The Prophecies Begin book covers?

BY THE EDITOR

Ever find yourself wondering which of the many characters of Warriors are being featured on the cover of any given Warriors book? Never fear! Just check out our handy guide below to find out which characters appear on the covers of the six books of The Prophecies Begin!

Into the Wild – Firepaw

This gorgeous cover, with the brilliant greens of the grass and the bright flash of orange fur as a curious young face peeks through, features none other than the main charcter himself, Firepaw! You can see the youthful softness of his face, not yet touched by the worries of a warrior fighting to keep his Clan safe from the scheming of Tigerstar!

Fire and Ice – Tigerclaw

On this ominous cover, perfectly reflecting the hot and cold nature of the title with the cold blues of the background and the warm oranges of the fire sparks and the lighting on the cat’s brown fur, features our equally omionus villain Tigerclaw! You can really sense the menace in those fiery amber eyes as he glares out at the reader.

Forest of Secrets – Graystripe

This cover features Fireheart’s best friend, Graystripe! We see the golden forest light glittering upon the river that divides Graystripe from what he loves most, and which, by the end of the book, calls him to his new home.

Rising Storm – Yellowfang

On vibrantly dangeorus cover, we see the face of beloved medicine cat Yellowfang in the last heroic act of her life, trying to save Halftail from the flames before being trapped by them herself! The blaring red of the burning forest and the way it turns Yellowfang’s gray pelt to red with its light gives this cover a uniquely alarming, but still gorgeous, appearance!

A Dangerous Path – Bluestar

In contrast to the shocking reds of the last cover, this book’s deep blues and teals fit well with the cat featured on the cover, ThunderClan’s once noble, now untrusting and conufsed, leader Bluestar! Much of her time in this book is spent steeped in her paranoid fears, but in this cover we get a glimpse of the true nobility and clarity that allowed her to end her final life saving her Clan.

The Darkest Hour – Firestar

In the final cover of The Propecies Begin, we return once more to our protagonist, as Firestar is the cat featured on this cover just as he was for Into the Wild. This time, however, we see not the curiosity and softness of youth on his face, but the fierce determination of a leader who has been through much strife and is ready to do what it takes to save his Clan once and for all.
