Leafstar

Leafstar is a former loner who rose to become the first leader of the re-established SkyClan. Noble as any Clanborn warrior from the moment she joined the Clan, Leafstar nevertheless has not always been confident about her own ability to lead. She will have to lead SkyClan through some of its darkest days, and learn when to change and adapt, and when to fight to preserve what her Clan stands for.

Hawkwing

Hawkwing is the hot-tempered son of SkyClan’s deputy, Sharpclaw. The loss of a beloved littermate while Hawkwing is still young, and a tense relationship with his father, drives the tom to seek friendship in SkyClan’s mysterious new visitor. But when everything Hawkwing thought certain is shattered before his eyes, will he find the strength to help lead his Clan through their hardest challenge yet?

Frecklewish

Frecklepaw was among the kittypets recruited into SkyClan as daylight warriors in the Clan’s early days in the gorge. While she initially trained as a warrior apprentice, she was quickly drawn to Echosong and the duties of a healer. It took Leafstar some time to accept having a medicine cat who lived part-time with twolegs. Though Frecklewish no longer lives with twolegs, that initial decision to allow her to train as a healer despite her kittypet status gave SkyClan a great medicine cat just in time for their new life by the lake.

Fidgetflake

Having had the end of his kithood shattered by the loss of his home and his littermate to Darktail’s rogues, Fidgetkit finds solace in helping Echosong look after Clanmates equally shaken by loss, and is appointed her apprentice. He takes to his new responsibilities with a clear certainty of purpose, and continues to show that steadfastness of character through all of the hardships his Clan suffers, serving his Clan and StarClan with solemn devotion.

Tree

No cat was quite sure what to make of this strange loner when he first joined the Clans. With his strange way of hunting, strange way of speaking, and strange ability to see and speak with ghosts of fallen cats, he couldn’t seem more unusual to the Clan cats if he tried. But underneath his weird powers and his apparent detachment from Clan life and Clan traditions is a deeply loyal and loving tom who only wants to provide the best life possible for the cats he cares for most. Will this weird outsider ever truly find a place among the Clans? Or is he doomed to be a wanderer for the rest of his days?

Violetshine

Violetshine is the second abandoned kit found by Alderheart and Needletail. Separated from her sister, Twigbranch, Violetshine finds herself thrust into a Clan that is quickly spinning out of control. Forced to adapt to the harsh and violent new ways of life, Violetshine finds out she is in far more danger than she could have possibly imagined. While Twigbranch is trying to solve the mystery of their kin, Violetshine realizes that she will have to find a way to simply survive.

Rootspring

The well-loved but frustrated son of the Clans’ only mediator, this young tom is desperate to separate himself from the legacy of his father’s weirdness and be seen as just a normal SkyClan cat. But when he discovers he has inherited his father’s power to speak to the dead, the responsibility of untangling a dark web of secrets and deception that has touched all of the Clans falls onto his shoulders. Will Rootspring embrace what has always been a part of him and help a spirit desperate to be heard? Or will he turn away from the weirdness that he’s always been desperate to escape from?
