Who are the cats on Omen of the Stars book covers?
BY THE EDITOR
Ever find yourself wondering which of the many characters of Warriors are being featured on the cover of any given Warriors book? Never fear! Just check out our handy guide below to find out which characters appear on the covers of the six books of Omen of the Stars!
The Fourth Apprentice – Dovepaw
The Fourth Apprentice kicks off the Omen of the Stars covers with a lovely shot of Dovepaw crouching among the sparse undergrowth. Her soft gray pelt and forest-green eyes serves a constrast to the dry, sickly undergrowth and dry, cracked ground around her, but her uneasy crouched position and unsheathed claws speak to the unease surrounding both the drought and the looming prophecy of the Three.

Fading Echoes – Ivypaw
On this fiery cover, we see Ivypaw stalking through a flower meadow. The undergrwoth is more lush than the last cover, but the blood-red flowers and the harsh red light of the low-set sun hint at a bloodier fate in store for the young she-cat.

Night Whispers – Flametail
This lovely snowy cover features Flametail, his fiery ginger coat standing out against the soft purples and whites of the winter landscape. But while the snow is lovely, the look at the frozen lake further back serves as ominous foreshadowing to Flametail’s ultimate fate.

Sign of the Moon – Teller of the Pointed Stones
Teller of the Pointed Stones, or Stoneteller, is the star of this lovely moonlit cover. The healer’s brown fur is cast in a warm light on one side, and a cooler light on the other by the moonlight streaming through the waterfall at the mouth of the Cave of Rushing Water, contrasting the warmer colors with the lovely blues of the cave and water.

The Forgotten Warrior – Hollyleaf
The titular forgotten warrior, Hollyleaf, cuts a striking figure on this gorgeous cover. Her sleek black coat and the dark shadows on the surrounding holly contrats with the lovely green of the forest backdrop and her own forest-green eyes.

The Last Hope – Firestar
The mood is set perfectly for the final showdown between the living and the dead with this beautifully ominus cover. In the midst of a dark and dreary forest that looks on the edge of becoming like the Dark Forest itself, Firestar stands out like a flame, a beacon of light and hope, his expression determined as he leads the Clans into the battle that would be his end, but would be the begnning of a new era of peace for those he left behind.
