The time has come to announce our July challenge!

Nothing quite says summer like the beach! As we all enjoy this particularly hot summer together, we would like to celebrate both this iconic staple of the season, as well as the recent release of the first The New Prophecy graphic novel, by having our fans draw the sun-drown-place! You must include at least one cat from the books in your drawing of the sun-drown-place, it does not have to be a cat who has actually visited the sun-drown-place in the books. So long as you’ve included the sun-drown-place and one cat, you’re good to go!

To submit your entry, email your art as an attachment to fanart@warriorcats.com with the subject title “Sun-drown-place challenge”. Please remember to put your artist name in the email as we will use that to credit the picture. The editors at Warrior Cats HQ will choose their winners and feature their favourite artwork in a gallery at the end of each challenge.

Once you’ve submitted your art, we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received your submission successfully.

As a reminder, any art submitted for this challenge has to be your own art to be considered. We also can only accept submissions that focus on the drawing itself – we can’t accept photos taken far away with parts of your house or yourself showing around the drawing. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways you guys interpret this one!

All entries must be submitted by Friday 24th July.
