The time has come to announce our December contest!

For many cultures, December is the season of giving. And for the Clans, one of the greatest and most mysterious gifts a cat can receive is the gift of nine lives. Each life comes with the gift of a certain trait – strength, compassion, wisdom – and the blessing, or judgment, of the spirit imparting it. For this challenge, we want you to draw your favorite nine lives ceremony.  It must be a ceremony that took place on the page (so no offscreen ceremonies like Harestar’s), with cats from the series.

To submit your entry, email your art as an attachment to fanart@warriorcats.com with the subject title “Nine lives challenge”. Please remember to put your artist name in the email as we will use that to credit the picture. The editors at Warrior Cats HQ will choose their winners and feature their favourite artwork in a gallery at the end of each challenge.

So, it’s time to get creative – good luck! 

Once you’ve submitted your art, we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received your submission successfully.

As a reminder, any art submitted for this challenge has to be your own art to be considered. We also can only accept submissions that focus on the drawing itself – we can’t accept photos taken far away with parts of your house or yourself showing around the drawing. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways you guys interpret this one!

All entries must be submitted by Friday 20th December.
