The time has come to announce our May challenge!

When the Clans first arrived at the lake, it was Leafpaw’s discovery of the Moonpool that truly cemented that the Clans were where they were supposed to be, and that StarClan had led them home. Countless generations ago, the ancient ancestors of the Clans walked the spiral path down to the water, their pawprints still dimpling the ground long after they were gone. Now, those pawprints are gone, and so is any connection with StarClan, because of the twolegs’ destruction.

To honor this beautiful and incredibly important place for the Clans and their history, we’re asking our fans to draw the Moonpool for this month’s challenge. You many include any cats from the book that you wish, or depict any scene that happened at the Moonpool – as long as your drawing primarily features the Moonpool, you’re good to go!

To submit your entry, email your art as an attachment to fanart@warriorcats.com with the subject title “Moonpool art challenge”. Please remember to put your artist name in the email as we will use that to credit the picture. The editors at Warrior Cats HQ will choose their winners and feature their favourite artwork in a gallery at the end of each challenge.

Once you’ve submitted your art, we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received your submission successfully.

As a reminder, any art submitted for this challenge has to be your own art to be considered. We also can only accept submissions that focus on the drawing itself – we can’t accept photos taken far away with parts of your house or yourself showing around the drawing. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways you guys interpret this one!

All entries must be submitted by Friday 22nd May.
