The time has come to announce our March contest!

With the release of Chasing Shadows approaching, we want to celebrate one of the core themes of Changing Skies as whole – how age affects life in the Clans, and how the youngest and oldest of the Clan respond to similar challenges. For the last release, we asked you to draw your favorite apprentice, to honor the young of Changing Skies and the struggles they faced as they learned their place in a world that was new to them. Now, to honor the older cats who struggle to find their place in a world they no longer recognize, we want you to draw your favorite elders! It must be a cat who officially held the role of Clan elder at some point in the books – otherwise, the choice is yours!

To submit your entry, email your art as an attachment to fanart@warriorcats.com with the subject title “Favorite elder challenge”. Please remember to put your artist name in the email as we will use that to credit the picture. The editors at Warrior Cats HQ will choose their winners and feature their favourite artwork in a gallery at the end of each challenge.

So, it’s time to get creative – good luck! 

Once you’ve submitted your art, we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received your submission successfully.

As a reminder, any art submitted for this challenge has to be your own art to be considered. We also can only accept submissions that focus on the drawing itself – we can’t accept photos taken far away with parts of your house or yourself showing around the drawing. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways you guys interpret this one!

All entries must be submitted by Friday 20th March.
