The time has come to announce our February contest!

For many of us, February is the month of love. Here at Warriors HQ we’ve often taken February as the opportunity to celebrate various types of couples that appear in Warriors, from conventional couples to forbidden pairings. But this February, we want to give our fans the opportunity to celebrate the couples that never were. We want you to draw a pair of cats who appear in the books, but were never mates in the books. They can come from any arc, super edition, etc., they don’t have to be from the same era, or have ever even met, as long as it’s two unrelated adult characters from the books who aren’t already mates, it counts!

To submit your entry, email your art as an attachment to fanart@warriorcats.com with the subject title “What-if couple challenge”. Please remember to put your artist name in the email as we will use that to credit the picture. The editors at Warrior Cats HQ will choose their winners and feature their favourite artwork in a gallery at the end of each challenge.

Once you’ve submitted your art, we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received your submission successfully.

As a reminder, any art submitted for this challenge has to be your own art to be considered. We also can only accept submissions that focus on the drawing itself – we can’t accept photos taken far away with parts of your house or yourself showing around the drawing. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the creative ways you guys interpret this one!

All entries must be submitted by Friday 20th February.
