As the grandson of ThunderClan’s leader and deputy, and the kin of the legendary Firestar, this young tom was always going to have the weight of his kin’s legacy on his shoulders. But after a kithood with a mother too grief-stricken to tend to him, an apprenticeship darkened by the presence of the impostor terrorizing the Clan, and a name that says more about his legendary kin than it says about himself, he struggles with bitterness and a longing for the love of those around him. Will this uncertain young tom ever be able to make his Clanmates see him for who he is? Or will he be forever overshadowed by the achievements of those who came before him?
