[Lionpaw x Heatherpaw] (Forbidden Love) Like his mother, Lionpaw ends up having a crush on a quick Windclan apprentice, Heatherpaw. The two begin to meet under the tunnels of Windclan and Thunderclan territory where they play fight and pretend to rule their own clan. Lionpaw begins to realize that to be a true Thunderclan warrior, he must end his relationship with Heatherpaw, which in turn causes a large rift between the two. She tells him that she hopes that being a Warrior would be worth the cost of their friendship. When Windclan attacks Thunderclan through the tunnels, Lionpaw believes that Heatherpaw has broken their promise of keeping the tunnels a secret and becomes horribly mad at the young Windclan cat. it is later discovered that it wasn’t her, but a pair of kits that exposed the tunnels. The two never truly worked through their issues, and still have tensions between one another.
