Lionblaze is hesitant at first, after his bad experience with Heatherpaw, but soon realizes that he is allowed to be in love with someone in his clan, and he lets his heart guide him. However, as the prophecy takes up more of his time, and creates secrets and trouble for the young tom, he eventually decides he must tell Cinderheart of his destiny. Fearing she would get in the way of his grand fate, she tells him they cannot be together, and she ends the relationship. For moons Cinderheart avoids Lionblaze, despite his attempts to reason with her. They eventually discover, that it doesn’t matter who you are, or what you do, you have to let your heart guide you.
