Sixth Series •Darktail Arrives: During “Thunder and Shadow,” we start to see Darktail and his “Kin” living near Shadowclan’s territory. Very quickly the young members of Shadowclan start to leave Shadowclan as they consider their leader, Rowanstar, weak. Slowly, Shadowclan begins to start being attacked multiple times by Darktail’s group. This quickly weakens the clan more as some are injured and some members continue to decide to leave Shadowclan. Soon the weakened Shadowclan falls ill with the mysterious “Yellowcough” which can only be cured with herbs found on Windclan territory. Onestar, the leader of Windclan, is furious that Shadowclan did not chase off Darktail when they had the chance. He refuses to give Shadowclan the herb that they desperately need. This causes a huge rift within the clans, and Windclan closes it’s borders. Secretly the Windclan deputy and med. cat go behind their leader’s back and give Shadowclan the herb.
