Ivypaw is now a spy for Thunderclan in the Dark Forest. After drowning in the lake, Flametail’s death is blamed on Jayfeather. Somehow Flametail’s spirit becomes lost in the Dark Forest. In a test of Ivypaw’s loyalty, she is ordered to kill Flametail. She is stopped by Flametail’s brother, Tigerheart, who is also training in the Dark Forest. Flametail returns to Starclan.
