Tigerstar

No one quite knew what to make of Tawnypelt’s decision to name her son after her murderous father, and that confusion carried through to the tom’s adulthood. Tigerheart is charismatic, good-humored, and easy to get along with – especially for a certain ThunderClan she-cat. But no one can ignore the echoes of Tigerstar that live on in his grandson, and when Ivypool meets him training with his kin in the Dark Forest, every cat is left wondering his intentions. Will he prove as dark-hearted as the Tiger before him? Or will he rise about his name – and his bloodline – and be a warrior to make his Clan proud?

Cloverfoot

Cloverfoot was one of the first warriors to join the rebellious apprentices in abandoning ShadowClan for Darktail’s Kin. She would regret that decision forever after Darktail took over her Clan and nearly destroyed it forever. She fled the Kin with some of her former Clanmates, only to be brought back home to ShadowClan moons later by Tigerstar. She serves her Clan with true loyalty now, having learned from the mistakes of her past, and is determined to help ShadowClan build a better future.

Puddleshine

When Littlecloud died and left ShadowClan without a medicine cat, Puddlekit was chosen from among his littermates to be trained to take his place. Though he initially showed no particular aptitude for healing or speaking with StarClan, and though he had not chosen this path for himself, Puddleshine worked hard to learn everything he could and become the healer his Clan needed. He has shown great dedication and resilience for a cat given too much responsibility far too young – and he will need that resilience to help keep his Clan together in the moons to come.

Shadowsight

The son of ShadowClan leader Tigerstar and former ThunderClan warrior Dovewing, this young medicine cat has been prophecized to see into the shadow since he was a kit. But when a strange voice starts urging him to punish the Codebreakers – including his mother – Shadowsight must decide whether to obey the ancestors he was always taught to honor, or to do what he feels to be right in his heart.

Tawnypelt

The daughter of the treacherous Tigerstar, Tawnypelt chose to make a new life for herself in ShadowClan, where she wouldn’t have to be judged for who her father was. But life in a Clan she wasn’t born in will always come with its own challenges, and Tawnypelt must face challenges to her loyalty and her honor again and again. Will this fierce and noble warrior ever be truly accepted by the Clan she chose?

Dovewing

Dovewing is the last of the three prophesied cats and the sister to Ivypool. Driven by her gut, Dovewing is quick to notice that there is something different about her. She discovers that she has powers unlike any other in her Clan and must partake in a destiny far greater than herself. Torn between what she feels is right and what others tell her, Dovewing must embrace not only her special powers but also her inner voice to try and save all the Clans around the lake.

Fringewhisker

When the warrior code changed to allow cats to change Clans to be with their mates, Fringewhisker was one of the first to use this new law and joined her beloved Spireclaw in ShadowClan. But while no cat can doubt the strength of their love, or Fringewhisker’s determination to prove herself to ShadowClan, proving her loyalty after leaving her birth Clan was never going to be easy – and some cats are determined to make it as difficult as possible. Will Fringewhisker be able to rise above the challenges constantly laid before her? Or will the distrust of others make it truly impossible for her to ever find her place in ShadowClan?

Blazefire

As a kit, Blaze was raised with the Guardian Cats among the towering dens and crowded paths of the city. But a warrior’s courage beat in his young heart, and when Tigerheart and Dovewing left the city to seek out the Clans, Blaze left with them. Through the death of his beloved friend Spire, the long journey to the lake, and moons of training, Blazefire eventually grew into a warrior ShadowClan could be proud of – and caught the eye of his new Clanmate Sunbeam. But what will happen when Sunbeam’s feelings and his own begin to drift in different directions?

Lightleap

When the Lights of the Mist were being chosen to go into the Dark Forest, Lightleap volunteered to be the representative for ShadowClan. But when the moment came, the understanding of what she was truly about to do set in, and the fear that took over her kept her from being able to dream her way into the Dark Forest properly. Shadowsight went in her place, and Lightleap was left behind to stew in her shame and embarrassed anger over her failed courage. In time, shame turned to a reckless desire to prove her courage once more. How far will Lightleap go to prove her courage to her Clan, and to herself? And who else might she hurt along the way through her reckless abandon?

Spireclaw

Born in his parents’ self-imposed exile, named after a city cat, and raised alongside half-ThunderClan city-born kits, was it ever any wonder that Spireclaw would look beyond the confines of his own Clan with friendship and understanding? Berryheart was furious when her son announced his love for Fringewhisker of SkyClan, but Spireclaw’s loyalty to his mate is greater than any fear he has of his mother’s displeasure. He is determined to support her steadfastly through her trials and through his mother’s attempts to oust her from the Clan. But will even his steady love and loyalty be enough to carry him and Fringewhisker through the increasing hostily against so-called Clan-swappers?
