Icestar

Icewing has been a warrior for a long time. From training in the Dark Forest to become a stronger warrior for her Clan, to losing her beloved son forever to those desolate woods, to facing exile over her willingness to stand up to the impostor, this noble she-cat has lived through some of the Clan’s hardest battles, and has suffered some of the greatest losses any cat ever could. But through it all, a deep sense of loyalty to her Clan and to what she knows to be right has carried her through everything life has thrown at her. Her Clan will need her strength and unwavering sense of right and wrong in the hard days to come – and so will cats that the Clans have long forgotten.

Owlnose

With the apparent advice from StarClan to “look beyond the obvious choices”, Frostpaw decides that her father’s brother Owlnose is the cat her ancestors must want as RiverClan’s new leader. But from the moment she makes her announcement, doubts arise. Owlnose is young, inexperienced, and seems to have none of the confidence or decisiveness needed to command a Clan. And yet, if Owlnose isn’t the right cat to lead RiverClan after all, a dire question emerges – what does that say about Frostpaw’s ability to interpret the will of StarClan?

Mothwing

Mothwing and her brother were left with RiverClan as young cats. While Hawkfrost honed his warrior skills, Mothwing found herself drawn to the path of a medicine cat. But will this rogue turned medicine cat truly be able to live up to expectations of her Clan and her new role? Or will secrets and betrayal doom her to failure?

Frostdawn

As a kit, this young she-cat often felt at a distance from her littermates, because her dreams and visions set her on a different path. But with her mother’s encouragement, Frostpaw accepted her fate as a healer and messenger for StarClan. And when her dreams of her father’s death and incoming storms catch the attention of Mothwing, she is made the medicine cat apprentice of her Clan, and is soon regarded as the only cat in the Clan who can communicate with StarClan on their behalf. But when tragedy befalls RiverClan and Frostpaw is the only one her Clan can turn to for StarClan’s guidance, will this young, inexperienced cat really be able to be what her Clan needs of her? Or will something even darker haunt her pawsteps and doom her efforts to protect her Clan?

Podlight

With Frostpaw seemingly out of the picture, Splashtail needed a new ally in the medicine den to smooth his way to power. That new ally turned out to be Podlight, Frostpaw’s kin and the brother of Splashtail’s first ally Curlfeather. He quickly made his dedication to his new leader clear by lying to get him into power and laughing over Reedwhisker’s murder with him. Podlight is no master manipulator with an iron will, who could look StarClan in the eyes and refuse their guidance. Nor could he kill his Clanmates with his own claws. What he does have is a fierce resentment toward the other Clans for poking their noses in his Clan’s business – and that kind of fury without morals to guide it can be just as dangerous as a sharp set of claws.
